Slaughter of Innocence

It's no surprise to anyone who knows me that I view the practice of abortion as the largest blight on the human landscape. Next to slavery in and the holocaust in the all-to-recent past abortion takes the cake as being the biggest wholesale human sin on a grand-scale, I have no doubts that sometime in the future the abortion practices of the modern era will be looked at with disgust as is the practices of slavery, child labor and genocide.

Here's some rather interesting food for thought that just occurred to me last week while thinking about the world's population, something around 6 billion or so these days, a daunting number that doesn't begin to help one visualize just how large of a number that is. That's an astounding number of individual human beings if you really start to think about it. Here's the kicker, according to census reports, the United States has about 300 million people, that means that the United States makes up all of 5% of the total worlds population.

No More Fatties in 2008!

So, according to the following article http://www.foxnews.com/story/0,2933,381962,00.html, the new Pixar film is receiving scorn from some viewers because it pokes fun at fat people. They are offended by the the demeaning view from others that fat people are lazy and gluttonous. I'm just here to say, "Yes, you are fat, lazy and probably gluttonous, so do something about it.".

While the following article isn't particularly special or even remotely interesting it does continue to propel a saga that just won't go away, hurricane Katrina.

Islamic Indoctrination

I don't know much about England except that they seem to live much the same we do here in America and we both seem to share an affinity for James Bond and Harry Potter. Nevertheless what is happening in England should be a chilling reminder of what is going on in the world with respect to the intentional and focused spread of Islam in the modern world.

The Devil's Playground

I don't know if your aware of it, but this world has got a very serious problem going on and this problem isn't new and it's not being dealt effectively. While it would seem the biggest issue in the world is terrorism, it simply isn't the case, terrorism is only a part of the larger problem, that being extremist Muslims in general.

$4.00, Counting Sheep & Attitude

Gas has finally reached $4.00 a gallon, and the uproar over gasoline prices appears to be rising just as quickly. Comments abound across the media and the Internet about how the rising oil prices is putting a pinch on people’s pocketbooks, people aren’t traveling as much, people aren’t buying as much, which is causing our economy to slow etc.

While I don’t deny that the rising costs of gasoline, food and in general, all goods across the market is going to result in less items being purchased, it’s still not the catastrophic ‘happening’ that many outlets seem to want you to think.

2 + 2 = 486

What exactly does 'retained products of conception' refer to? My best guess is its the politically correct way to talk about what's normally known as a 'baby in the womb'. Referring to this article: http://www.foxnews.com/story/0,2933,366501,00.html, it turns out some young girl died after taking the chic brand name abortion pill RU-486. My sarcastic side can't discern why this became a news story, after all the only intended purpose of RU-486 is to kill, and in this case, it worked flawlessly.

Home Mortgage 'Crisis'

| | Comments (0) | TrackBacks (0)

I'm probably one of the few who finds this economic stimulus package to be a complete joke. The White House and the government in general seems to think that in order to fix the mortgage crisis the country is facing, everyone in the country should just be given money. Something around the $600-$1200 range, give or take a few more hundred based upon how many children a family has. The number keeps changing because they are still hashing out the details.

The United States has a Railgun

This is exactly why I don't completely hate paying taxes. The primary responsibility of any decent government is to protect its citizens, afterall, this is why governments were first established in the first place. The United States now has a prototype rail gun being developed by the military, Navy specifically. This is outstanding, we have nukes and now we have a rail gun and apparently many rail guns will be deployed on all sorts of ships and craft by the year 2020, this is just one of a multitude of reasons I'm glad I was born and live in the United States.
